Today we continue to think about the consequences of David’s sin and turn to 2 Samuel 13. We see that the winner against Goliath is defeated now in his family. Doesn’t this happen in our lives? Do we not destroy families today with resentment, negligence, strife, unforgiveness? Children do not understand their parents, and parents do not understand their children. The mom of one teenage girl moaned: “My daughter does not tell me anything . I lost sleep and rest”. Another mother said to her: “My daughter tells me everything . I also lost sleep and rest”.
Children think that the problem is in their parents. One teenager was complaining. “If I have something to say and start to explain it to my parents, they are outraged! If I say nothing, they resent again and ask why are you silent?”
